Walk To End Homelessness
Living Hope participated in the second annual Walk to End Homelessness took place on Saturday, October 4, 2008. Money raised from this awareness walk was used toward housing, food and medical care for The Giving Tree’s homeless guests that receive shelter and care at The Compassion Hope Center, Grace Home, Promise Home, Lighthouse and Our Home.
The 3-mile route was chaperoned by adult volunteers to assure the safety of children and teens that decided to take a stand to stamp out homelessness. Sponsors contributed an amount per mile or a single contribution.

Project F.E.E.D. (Feed Everyone Every Day)
This project was developed to feed Tucson’s homeless and needy population every day. Project FEED serves a hot meal every Thursday and Sunday at 4pm until 6:30pm at “the lot” at 4443 East 22nd Street (between Columbus and Swan west of the Family Dollar Store). We were so excited about this project, because feeding hungry people seems like it’s always the right thing to do, and is so consistent with what Jesus told us to do. Not only that, but it is sooo Living Hope!

Natalie Brown, (Missionary)
Natalie Brown is U of A grad who understands the deep connection between missions and service. For her, there may be no better way to share the Gospel than to minister to the needs of suffering people. Helena Finch, (Missionary)
Helena is a young woman with a vision for missions. As a photographer, she hopes to bring the realities of day-to-day living home to the churches and people who support missions around the world. Committed to support Helena in her work, we supported Helena in the summer of 2008, when she was off to Asia to minister to those in need and bring back the important message of missions.
