| At DCLA this past June, the group was treated to a pre-screening of a new movie called To Save a Life. Some of us saw an additional screening of the finished movie this December. This is a deeply moving story about our choices, and how they can affect those around us. The movie releases to selected cities on Jauary 22nd. Tucson is not currently one of those cities. However, we are working with a group at 1st Southern Baptist Church to bring the movie to Tucson. Living Hope has committed to purchasing 40 tickets for this film should it come here. Please make plans to buy one of those tickets, and join us on the 22nd to see this amazing movie. |
| The Letter to the Galatians: January 17th - March 21st Many people believe that Paul's letter to the Galatians is his earliest letter, and may pre-date the Gospels. In fact, some believe that Galatians is the oldest book of the New Testament. So what does this letter tell us? What conflict was Paul engaging with in the Galatian church? How can we live as faithful followers of Jesus in the 21st Century? I believe Galatians will help us distinguish between religion and true faith, and guide us as we take on the yoke of Jesus.
