On a sunny March Saturday morning, ten brave men and young women arrived at Disruptive Paintball for a ‘friendly’ game of paintball. Four hours of ten minute games later, everyone was covered in paint…and giant smiles. Here are the few, the proud, the paintballers:
This year, our annual Hoedown was hosted by the Braskamps at the Double B Ranch. We began the evening with horseback riding and artistic face-painting; we then enjoyed smoked beef, chicken, salmon, and pork for dinner; after some dance instruction, we danced the night away with some country dancing; and finally, we celebrated a birthday and toasted marshmallows [...]
Summer is nearing; graduations and graduation parties are in full swing. So, this month was the Connections Summer Kick-off Pool Party at the Krabbendams. There was swimming, plenty of good food, yummy ice cream, and we finished off the evening with several rounds of ‘Dance-off’ on the Wii.

Connections is a ministry designed with the ‘younger crowd’ in mind. The mission with the Connections Ministry is to “build connections that last a lifetime”. We want our youth to connect with God, each other, and especially with the generations. The Connections Ministry consists of 12 pre-planned activities per year – one per month.

The March Connections event occurred on Sunday the 13th. Right after church, we left for the Sweetwater Trail for a short hike and a devotion.
