Connections Ministry
Connections is a ministry designed with the ‘younger crowd’ in mind. The mission with the Connections Ministry is to “build connections that last a lifetime”. We want our youth to connect with God, each other, and especially with the generations. The Connections Ministry consists of 12 pre-planned activities per year – one per month. And we place a high value on the cross-generational aspect in this ministry. Parents, grandparents, and adults are encouraged to attend and participate in the Connections events.
The 2012 Connections Event Line-up:
Jan 25th 1-3pm – Flag Football at Ironwood Elementary School
Feb 11th 1-3pm – Bowing at Fiesta Lanes
Mar 10th – Painball (time and location TBA)
Apr 21st 10-2pm – Sabino Canyon Hike
May 26th 6-10pm – Summer Kick-off Pool Party
June 8th 7-10pm – Game Night
July 20th 6-9pm - Funtastics
Aug 18th 11-2pm – Rocks ‘n Ropes
Sept 22nd 5-10pm – Progressive Dinner
Oct 27th 4-10pm – Hoedown at the Braskamps
Nov 10th – YIKES! Dinner at the Gale’s
Dec – Winterhaven Walk-thru (date and time TBA)
